Clay

• I use polymer clay; trademark brands FIMO ® and Sculpey ® for my designs.
• Both clays are certified non toxic products by the Arts & Creative Materials Institute.
• Each design is individually created using cutters, templates or hand cut, then baked on the knobs, switch plate or chain pull.

Knobs

Knobs designs are glued after baking and cooling using high strength two part epoxy in clear.

Unusual Style Combination Switch Plates

CEILING FANS or DIMMERS Slide controls use ROCKER styles Rheostat or dial controls use TOGGLE styles
OVER - UNDER SWITCHES use OUTLET styles
CABLE - PHONE CONNECTIONS Cable, phone or cable/phone combination plates are not available in the brand plates I use. If you wish to put a decorative plate on any of the above connections you will need to purchase a jack (cable/phone combination is pictured on the right) and install it. Care & Durability

• Designs can be cleaned using warm soapy water.
• Stubborn dirt and grease can be removed with a gentle spray cleaner and light scrubbing with a soft brush.
• Some designs are more fragile than others. I would not recommend those with more beads (such as flip flops) or those with thin appendages (such as crabs, octopus and turtles) for installation on frequently used cabinets or doors.
• Colors will not fade in exposure to sunlight.
• If designs come off a knob you can reapply them yourself (Decorating tips & ideas - trouble shooting) or return the knob for replacement.

Glossary - Color Matching Terms

If you have doubts about the color match of the knob or any design to your decor based solely on its name and photo; you can send a paint chip, wall paper sample or fabric sample to me so I can insure a match or custom blend the colors for a near exact match.

These terms may help describe a background or technique seen in the products for sale:

	MARBLED - the blending of two colors or shades of color to create a marbled effect.
	SCALED - the blending technique used to suggest scales on a fish; the semi circle of colors used in fish, turtles or flip flops
	SHADED - coloring that goes from dark to light, either top to bottom of a piece or inside to outside of a circle.
